urban nation is berlin's first and only museum dedicated to street art, graffiti, and urban contemporary art. it opened in 2017 in berlin-schöneberg and has since become one of the city's most distinctive cultural institutions. admission is free, reflecting the democratic spirit of the art form itself.
redesigned by architects graft, the museum spans 350 m² of exhibition space across two floors, with diagonal bridges, soaring room heights, and a modular facade that serves as a permanent canvas for international artists. its programme is international in reach and local in spirit, with large-scale works by artists like banksy, shepard fairey, and lady pink.
