the_space at ku'damm

the_space is an urban experimental venue on berlin's kurfürstendamm, one of the city's most prominent addresses. built from an ensemble of 35 modular shipping containers designed by architects graft, it occupies a 1,800 m² site at the kurfürstendamm subway entrance and is as architecturally striking as it is versatile. a 470 m² xxl mural facing the ku'damm makes it impossible to miss before you ever walk through the door.

opened in may 2025 by concrete candy and the team behind masumi.network, the_space hosts up to 500 guests across a programme spanning brand activations, art exhibitions, tech summits, community meetups, and product launches. it sits at the intersection of culture, commerce, and creativity — a creative meeting place by berliners for berliners.
